Rereading My Writing

I highly recommend rereading your writing at least once a week. I have let my writing alone for years sometimes and then when I come back to it I find the most beautiful treasures! Poems and prose buried deep in the journals and electronic entries and scraps of paper.

Rereading also connects me to those moments, and there have been oh so many! And I reconnect to all the images and visions I have had. It is a good feeling.

This week I am trying out a new way of organizing my calendar. I have been booking specific times for specific tasks. This week I am just going to make a list of the tasks I need to do each day, how long they will take and then organically go through my day, referring to the list as need be for the next item. This feels a lot more fluid and natural to me then a structured, rigid program. I was having trouble breathing there for a while as each hour was booked with a specific action, and I was getting to none of it. So far it is working beautifully. Shows how we tend to try and fit our round selves into square holes.

I am excited I have set my goals, or manifestations, up to the summer solstice. I have them written out and displayed on my desk where I can see them daily. A great climb to the top of the year, there to look around and glory in the view.
